I did not construct this and when I first read about Kevin and his high school days. I felt good about how his life has turned out and it made me a fan. While at Evergreen High School Kevin Kouzmanoff had some problems drinking too much and got into some trouble and almost left baseball. I read an article about this last year, I posted about it in his side bar Player To Watch under his driscription. I wish I had printed it or saved it on my old computer. If memory also serves it is why he always jokes about drinking Gatorade...I will keep looking for this info and post a link on it.

Just wondering where and how you constructed the idea of Kevin Kouzmanoff having a drinking problem in high school and that he was "washed up".... The only reason I can see that he was washed up was because he joined the diving team, he never had a drinking problem. Get your facts straight pal. He is a player that kids can look up to not for second chances, but because he takes everything in stride and is humble about every. I am very disappointed that you published such fabricated information, which could be considered a borderline defamation of character.
