The deal that has been almost done for awhile looks ot be done. Benitez will be sent to the Marlins prospect Randy Messenger to the Giants. Messenger a top pitcher prospect help the giant in there new youth movement they are trying to attempt. Look for others to be traded, like Ray Durham and others while the team prepares for the post Barry Bonds era in San Fran.

The Hot Stove Rumors are really starting to fly now.
Yankees: Looking to add some pop and part ways with Jason Giambi. Look for there too be a 3 way trade between the Angels, Yankees and Rockies. The Angels will send Branden Wood too the Rockies along with a young arm, Then the Yankees will Send Giambi to the Angels and the Rockies will send Todd Helton to the Yankees.
Angels: Sending Branden Wood to the Rockies for a struggling Garrett Atkins, the problem is Atkins had the one good year and he is struggling in Col and the NL think how he would struggle in the AL.
Cubs: Matt Murton Being shopped for some sort of reliefe help. I think they may hold on this for a bit too see if Troy Percivel ends up in a cubby uniform.
Rangers: Gange headed out of town already? Maybe, with Akinori Otsuka more than proving he should have the closing job. His work has made the Rangers understand that why deal with the iffiness of Gagne. Opening the chance to help there SP staff or add a bat while Gagne value is high.

With the call up of Scott Baker by the Twins. Many people who drafted Matt Garza or even Kevin Sloweywere dissappointed. Actually this was a smart move by the Twins by keeping them down they can make sure they don’t lose a year of there services. If you can get Baker do it fast he is the real deal and should stay with the club the rest of the year.
Todd Helton 1B Col looks to be still on the trading block and who is going to be calling you ask? The Yankees looking to upgrade at 1st are actually in talks to make this happen you could see a deal done within the next week. If this trade heppens Joe Koshansky is a must get think Ryan Howard #2…..
The Yankees Matt Desalvo SP had his 1st bad start or 1st start against a non Seattle team and he got rocked. If you have him trade him or dump him now if you can.
Jesse Litsch SP Tor. If he can lay of his cutter and use that changeup a majority of the time. Look for Litsch too be a solid keeper, but if he falls back in love with his cutter trade him now.
Carlos Gomez OF NYM is a solid batter and above average defender who desearve to stay up with the call for the rest of the year. He has 40+ stolen base potential and could be a great asset for any team.

With Hunter Pence on a major league roster and the promotion of Tim Lincecum probably happening next week, not to mention Jacob Elssbury getting a promote to Triple-A makes Coco Crisp now he is walking a thin line. I thought I would take a look at who the next couple players who should be close to getting the call to the majors.
#1 Wladimir Balentien OF Sea This kid has pwer to spair and can run the base paths with the best of them. In full stride i could see Balentien being a 30-20 guy. If there is an injury Balentien sould get a call before Adam Jones. Batting .371 with 7hr’s and 7sb’s in 105 AB’s.
#2 Brian Wilson RP S.F. He has come around to form and should get a look soon. There are allot of people looking too Brad Hennessey to fill the closer role when Benitez finally falls apart or is traded. I think Wilson will get the call for the job and leave Hennessey were is best suited as a set up man. with a 2.45 ERA in 7.1 Innings with 11 K’s and 2 saves.
#3 Wade Davis SP T.B. Jeff Niemann is the person who allot of people think will get the call quick, but if davis keeps tossing no hitters lik ehe has been. Look for Davis to get a look fast. 2-0 1.73 ERA 36 Innings with 34 K’s.
